Iowa requires rifles be .350 or larger bore diameter. Marlin 1895 SBL 45-70 Marlin 1894 SBL 44 mag Marlin 1894 SBL .357 mag Are all good choices. They shoot tighter than Henry rifles. CVA Scout also comes in several Iowa legal calibers 35 Whelen being the most capable as it is a 30-06 case necked to 35 cal. |
