| I don't think they exist. FNs foray into 5.56 was just the FNC IIRC. |

There were some custom 5.56 barrels; at one time I owned a switch-barrel FAL (7.62 NATO, 5.56 NATO, and .50 Beowulf) which worked well. I have to say, the 5.56 was my favorite, but it was pretty heavy for the cartridge. It was sold off long ago. Additionally, a company called RedRock or something similar was supposed to be making a 5.56 FAL, but they folded. There may be some of their pre-production barrels out there. |

I'm asking because I have access to a rewelded FAL receiver, but I don't trust it with .308 level loads. I was originally thinking about a .22 Fal, then considered a 5.56 (and found a magazine adapter). A friend suggested 8.6 Blackout. The Galil barrel aspect....interdasting. |
| DSA had 5.56 bolts at one point in time. Probably over a decade ago. Haven't checked recently. |
