Hopefully the other junk tacked onto it will prevent it from going anywhere.

Why do we have to have our rights restricted because the government of our neighbor to the south doesn't have control over their own country?

So tired of this bullshit.

Cuz they're marxists (deliberately not capitalized), and your rights are something that must be laid to waste so they can line their pockets and increase their power.

And all it would take is two republican traitors to make this happen.  Traitor Johnson to bring it to the floor for a vote and one other republican traitor to vote for it.  Gee.....what are the odds?

Wouldn't that also mean each round of 50BMG would also be a DD? FTN.

Absolutely not, unless it has more than 1/4 oz of explosive. Ammo for a DD is not automatically a DD unless it meets the composition requirements.

A .50 is not automatically a machine-gun either, but here we are, discussing the same.

Guns that specifically use the .50 BMG were banned in California years ago. No crime was ever committed with one. Someone convinced the governor that one could be used to down an airliner.

The great Tony Barrett created the California.502 as a big F-you to the state. Other .50 cal guns are still legal but that’s a bit besides the point.

Mexico needs to deal with their problems on their own. Besides what would stop the cartels from building their own factories?

Let’s hope this garbage ends up where it belongs. In the garbage.

Point taken (though I saw nothing indicating they would be considered such, simply that they would be NFA and closed to new registrations like MGs.).

Leave it to our .gov.

I bet if they stopped letting millions of illegals flow through their country that would help a lot.

Put up a wall so they can’t be taken to Mexico.
