I got a copy of my prints when I did my cans.  I just did a form 1 for an SBR and used those prints to upload into the application.  Since I haven't been able to view these prints anywhere in the format they are in, how do I know they uploaded correctly and were received by the ATF?

My cover letter does have my name on the bottom followed by a "REC'D" on the right side.  Does that confirm the print were received by the ATF?

Thanks.

The "rec'd" on the cover letter does mean they acknowledge that you uploaded an EFT file.

As for the validity of the file, I don't know if you have some reason to doubt the validity for some reason but I haven't heard of any of the usual EFT generating services screwing up the files somehow, so you're fine and if there's an issue they'll email you.

Thanks.

I went into the app after it was submitted and only saw my photo and cover letter.  Now I'm wondering after I uploaded it if I needed to click on something else to save it in the app?  Maybe I'll just mail in a set to be sure.

I don't think they even look at the files.

There have been people recently filing form 1's and mailing their prints in and getting approvals before their prints arrive at the ATF in WVA.

Thanks.  It's not like they don't already have at least 50 sets of cards and 12 EFT's from me in the past 6 years.

I did an "Ask the Experts" to see if they got the EFT Prints. I got this response this morning;

Your EFT file was received successfully.

So all is good.

The prints are validated when you upload them. As pointed out REC’D on the cover sheet means you’re good to go.

When I had a problem with an incorrect eft, it rejected it as soon as I tried to upload and the pop up gave the reason why.
