After quite a time I am back with an update.
If you were thinking we got exotic enough, then you haven't seen anything yet. Let me introduce..... Sudanese MIC (Military Industry Corporation) Their portfolio consists mainly of Chinese thermal imagers and most likely Iranian Shah era equipment made under license.

I do have an archive of all of the images, but at the moment lack the bandwidth to build a library of them. At this point in time, every country seems to have at least one local manufacturer of NV gear. Some of the designs are pretty cool - :) But not all can make tubes, and there's probably around 4 major manufacturers and a handful of smaller companies with the capability to make tubes. | I fully agree about MEOPTA being underrated, I personally run one of the ZD 6-24x56 RD with a MEONIGHT 1.1 night vision device attached. It is extremely clear and seems to be of gen 3 quality, though I may be wrong. But all in all, love their stuff and its super cool to see their larger NV optics represented here. |
