So I sent in two Form 20s to the ATF fax email address back in January. These were for a change of residence (I moved within the same county.) Nearly half a year later I still haven't received any response via email or mail. I called the NFA division last week to talk to someone about the status and was only able to leave a VM and no one called me back.

Should I bother pursuing this or not worry about it?

Stop worrying about it.  The Form 5320.20 is for interstate moves, not intrastate.

I wouldnt worry about it.

BTW it is technically incorrect to call it a "Form 20."

The ATF has both short and long form names for some forms, while others just have the long form name.

The  Form 5320.1, as an example, is called "Form 1" for short, as can be seen on the bottom right of the form noted as "ATF Form 1 (5320.20)."

The bottom right of the 5320.20 does not say ATF Form 20 (5320.20) but rather it says ATF Form 5320.20.

Not sure why. But that's the way it is.

A "Form 1" is labeled "ATF Form 1 (5320.1)"
A "Form 20" is labeled "ATF Form 5320.20"

If you ask any NFA person about a "Form 20", nearly everyone will know what you are talking about.

Yeah?
Tell that to my IOI.
A Form 4473 is labeled "ATF Form 4473 (5300.9)"
A Form 7 is labeled "ATF Form 7  (5310.12)/7CR(5310.16)"
A Form 6 is labeled "ATF Form 6 Part 1 (5330.3A)"

There are plenty of "NFA persons" that still refer to "Class III" as if it means thats required for selling NFA firearms. It's not.   I sell and transfer hundreds of NFA firearms a year and I'm not a "Class III".

Thanks for the responses guys. Imma leave it alone. I did my part and let them know the change of address.

And I'm aware "form 20" isn't the technical term, but figured everyone knew what I meant.
