I was also under the understanding when you SBR a rifle and your forum 1 is approved you would have to get the lower engraved with trust name and city and state is this not correct? I know if I was to purchase a SBR on a Forum 4 I would not have to engrave it.

Yep....a F-4 would already have the required info

Yes the "Maker" of the NFA item needs to engrave their information on it after filing the Form 1.
You don't have to engrave a NFA item transferred on a Form 4 because the Manufacture and possibly the Maker, have already done so. |

You need to engrave for a form 1 because you’re the one “making” it. Form 4 SBRs have already been made by someone else, and their info is already engraved on it.
