Well one thing I do see about them is they got the rifling correct. G-Force 357 has 1:16" barrel vs the 1:30" of the rossi. Still have not seen a review. Even if the QC is only as good as Rossi then what's the difference. Rossi warranty is so bad that it is like no warranty. Probably have a better chance of getting PSA to warrancy a g-force out of their own pocket since I doubt you would get any warranty service out of a turkish company. |

Well, not a comprehensive review by any measure, but ill at least provide something... Picked up their 357 GFLVR357SS back in October while on a trip to visit my dad. I got a good deal on it as the shop in question was doing a discount on all firearms in stock. Fit/Finish: Its not the best of any lever action I've dealt with, but its certainly not bad. Looks better than its price point would indicate at least. Weight: Holy shit this guy is light. If I were using it as a basic brush gun, carrying it around for long periods of time would not be a problem. Accuracy/Sights: It lines up quickly, the sights are easy to see, the sights don't seem particularly flimsy, and its about as accurate as id expect it to be. Its not a sharpshooters gun; its a light brush gun. Shooting: Its a joy with 38. With how light it is 357 can be a little punishing in comparison to heavier lever actions. Notes: The reloading gate seems to be significantly rougher on my fingers that my Marlin and would need a lot of break-in. Could be just me not being as used to lever actions as other people are though so take this with a grain of salt. It does operate very smoothly overall however. Seems to be a good budget rifle for someone who wants something light weight and wants it primarily for small game, but can move up to moderately sized game or 2-4 legged threats on occasion. |
