I thought I was going to have one built this week but I got scammed on the rail in the EE.

I will get this built.

As it sits now.

I ordered a rail to replace the sights from M14.CA so I can mount the EOTech. I think it'll end up with an Aimpoint PRO though if I'm being totally honest.

I had one.  I wanted to love it but it was way too needy.

What made it needy? I already have about 300 rounds through it in this configuration, and besides the issues he mentions with the bridge causing some jams that was it. Even those were pretty few and far between, 4 out of that 300 or so.

If you didn't use an Eotech you probably wouldn't have issues at all.

Or just mount it over the chamber instead of the ejection path.

It's an aesthetic gun ment for fun. I'll deal with a malfunction or 4 .

Sorry, forgot I posted here.  Mount issues, or probably receiver issues.  Arms 18 not square to receiver and trouble keeping tight.  Not the most accurate rifle.  It always functionedwell.

I just ran out of desire to make it something my example was never going to be.  May try again sometime because I do like the M1A in concept.
