My wife gave me a Remington 1860 Army kit maybe 40 years ago. I put it together and have shot it just a few times over the years. As I grow long in the tooth, I have become more interested in old stuff. I was lucky enough to pick up a couple Colt originals this past month and it's just cool to handle them Hope to be able to shoot them at least once. Attached File Attached File |

Cool old pieces Know the dates of manufacture? I’ve yet to ever even shoot a cap and ball revolver Received a new Pietta .36 cal Navy but had to immediately return it for warranty work  Already made the black powder, made my own caps for it, too Bought lube, bullets, bullet mold, wads, .36 cal cleaning kit, and ready to rock….but still no pistol as of yet |
