Was trying to find something in the garage and stumbled on these containers from 20+ years ago. Forgot I had them. Not sure what I want to do with the kit. I don't have any receivers, nor do I feel like going through the trouble of having it built (I already have three other FAL's I rarely shoot). Anyway, it sure brought back memories... I've gone thru all my totes and can only find junk. I am still looking for my para dust cover I took off my para and replaced with a DSA picatinny rail. I am sure it will turn up when my kids are liquidating my assets after I pass...

That’s a fun find. If you’re not up to speed your $100 investment per bin is worth a lot more at current prices now. Inch kits for $800-1000, I look and think that’s insane! I am only on the inch side of the FAL collecting and have been static as I am not getting younger and am enjoying what I have versus buying more. That said I do have one unbuilt inch receiver and 98% of the kit. iirc I just need a custom oversized barrel timing washer and then the correct locking shoulder. |
The only hyphenated names I like are cartridge names......30-06, 30-40, 38-55 etc.
