The comments were candid.   It is a performance atmosphere at sniper school.  The instructors are going to be brutally honest.

@outrider  there is a picture of the printed M110 can on page 2.  It was adopted by the Army as a replacement system as far as I am aware.  Some instructors who we had met at the award banquet after they won the ISC at Benning in 2023, visited us at SHOT in January and we asked about the status of the M110 cans and they were saying the replacement had just been issued- that was news to us, as we hadn't really thought about it until we were talking with us, because we were working on this project at that time.  The Sniper instructors have the cans at the school house.  That's their picture.  

I don't know if all the models are offered in printed but the M110 cans were kind of aging and needing replacement, especially at places like the schoolhouse where they rebarrel M110's annually.

Toward the end of the video Zach goes like 4 or 5 hits in a row on what looks like 2/3 IPSC at 1400yds with the mk13 & MGL-11 suppressor.  Phenomenal performance for the shooter, the rifle, and the can.

He noticed a wobble in the stock that was causing fliers in his initial group after grouping, and also had I believe left the can on for a previous day doing load development and when he tried to take it off, he was having trouble getting the can off after this second range day, and it turned out to be the gate wasn’t all the way up when he was trying to remove the can.  He mentioned to me that when he got the gate up, the can twisted off normally.

That mount basically works best if the shooter cleans the can after about every 50 rds of .300mag, or so.  You can see from the barrel the .300win mag produces a lot of carbon fouling.  Thats kind of consistent with stress tests we have done firing 500rds of .300win or .338lm on cans in a couple hours at generally 5 rds a minute sustained.
