Didn’t see a thread about this when I searched, but I just got my first pistol suppressor. Shot it direct thread, was a very annoying experience tightening over and over. Just shot it with EZ-Lok attached, completely changed the experience, didn’t have to tighten down the entire time (100 rounds this session). If you don’t like suppressed pistol shooting try EZ-Lok |
| It really makes suppressed pistols more enjoyable. I always hated having to buy pistons in multiple thread patterns for every can and swap out 3-4 different pistons at the range just to shoot on a couple different hosts that day. |

Tilt out and clean away. Maybe there are some pistols where that method wouldn't work but all of the sevenish I have set up with the mounting system work fine. YMMV. EZ-Lok is a home run. It works so darn well. Yes, as to cleaning, just leave the barrel in the slide and work around it. A boresnake instead of a rod/brush helps a lot. Something I learned: at around the 3k-5k round mark, remove the EZ-Lock barrel adapter from the muzzle and clean it on the inside where the carbon has built up. |
