I'll be ordering my Ap5-P soon, and I'm trying to decide which stock to put on it. Side folding, or collapsing? I suspect the side folder will be much more comfortable for shooting. For the life of me, I can't figure why B&T put the notches on the top of the bar.

The B&T side folding stock is very comfortable to shoot. |

Been a little since I contributed to the thread.
Got in on the PSA clearance sale earlier this year for the PTR bronze 9CTs since I really wanted a "slick top" MP5 clone as opposed to my mall-ninja one that appears earlier in the thread. Originally had this one setup with black furniture but was inspired by the latest HK RAL8000 versions to make my own spin on it. Real HK RAL8000 4-pos stock (which cost a little more than half the gun ), real HK RAL8000 mag (and I painted two KCI mags to match), PTR lower that I painted, and a BMP handguard I got from Gatewood Supply. I may get one of the new picatinny handguards from Midwest and paint it RAL8000 but I do like the simple setup. I love how it turned out overall. Attached File Without the can... Attached File |

Where do most engrave their MP5 to SBR it?

The sides of the magazine well are also popular. I went with stock channel myself. Remember it just has to be visible without disassembling the gun but extending a stock isn’t considered disassembly. |

My Zenith Zf-5 Jmac 1913 adapter and folder Ab8 arm bar and tailhook brace. This was a freakin expensive folding brace setup but its worth every penny. I love it. Its very high quality locks up tight and is very sturdy. Was goingbto sbr this thing but the brace is so good I dont really have a reason to. Now I want the K version as well with the same brace.
I still have to get an optic setup as well. Not sure on what im getting yet but I do want it where my dot is above the sights. Maybe scalarworks mount with either aimpoint or an rmr style. Attached File Attached File |

Unfired, with 10 mags, for a price I'm embarrassed to admit. Attached File Attached File Always wanted a G3 or FN-LAR clone. Hopefully this will scratch the itch. |

MAC 5. Bolt gap is .017. AC Unity mags won’t even begin to go in the magwell but KCI and Turkish mags fit fine. If it shoots good I’ll be pretty damn happy for $1000. Might have to put the PDW brace on it as I got it for the woman and the folder has too long of a LOP.

The design is pretty genius when it comes to working around receiver variance too. Pretty much impossible for it to not work. Installs in literally a minute or so. I haven’t shot it yet so can’t speak to long term. My only critique is the finish so far. Just mounting the cheap laser/light scraped the hell out of it. Probably going to rattle can it anyway. |
