| Just to be clear I have some parts lying around. I saw the new Auto ordnance SBR and I kind of like the looks of it. Does there have to be any mods to the op rod or anything? Still just tossing the idea around. Again I am not talking about chopping up a complete gun. I also have a butler creek composite stock I could use also |

Seeing as how the Enforcer works just fine the way it is, I can't imagine it would be all that difficult to mod yours to match. Put your BC stock on it & Form 1 it. Attached File |

No mods really needed if you keep the barrel length to say 11"-13" or just ahead of the stock band. You should keep enough of the barrel so you can attach a front sight. Because you are removing the key slot - you can modify a front sight by using a tap and set screw and hold it on. I haven't seen an SBR version that used a shorter gas system. The cut down "advisers" used in vietnam seemed like your enforcer length and often just crudely cut M2 full autos with no front sights and stocks cut to pistol grips. Those are fairly short cut and not otherwise modified and ran reasonably good. The gas will be less and ejection weaker when cut down but I've found the most important issues I've found for Carbine reliability even in short barrels is good bolt parts - so replace all those ibolt parts f not done already to NOS military stuff. Avoid Aguila as those are marginal

While Inland (new company, not the original) doesn't have the best feedback from what I've seen, I love the Advisor pistol. I'm assuming the stock can be added to the paratrooper stock. Inland Advisor pistol It looks like they make a 7.5" pistol as well. Inland M30 7.5" pistol I believe Chiappa owns the Inland company. Unfortunately, they don't have a stellar reputation. |

An SBR in the M1A1 Para stock, with that MLOK cut and a Woox wooden VFG, paired with a suppressor and an Ultimak rail with RDS and VFG, makes me  ETA: with the caveat of “if it runs”. |
