I have a complete Arisaka 99 and a barreled action 99, both last ditch models. How can I tell if these are real rifles or trainers?

Real rifles will have set of arsenal markings and serial number on the side of the receiver and will have rifled barrels.
I'm not too familiar with trainer rifles, they may have serial numbers as well but they won't have the arsenal markings and at least some of them will not have rifling. |
