IR Hunter/IR Patrol USB Power Source Adapter Kit The UNV - USB Battery adapter for the IR Hunter and IR Patrol is a high quality and hassle-free solution for powering your IR Patrol or IR Hunter thermal devices. The adapter will convert your power source to a more stable and efficient USB power bank. Not only is the USB power bank more efficient than CR123 batteries, it can also power your IR Patrol or IR Hunter for 8-24 hours depending on the battery you choose and your chosen frame rate. The adapter is an American made machined aluminum drop-in style replacement that requires no tools for installation. The adapter allows you to easily connect your IR Hunter or IR Patrol to a USB power source using the provided USB power cable. Each kit is supplied with a drop-in CR123A spacer cell. The provided drop-in spacer cell is necessary when the adapter is used with the IR Hunter or the IR Patrol in 2-battery configuration. The spacer cell is not needed when using the adapter with the IR Patrol in 1 battery configuration. There are no tools or modifications needed to use the adapter with your IR Hunter or IR Patrol, and if you ever want to use CR123A batteries again simply unscrew the adapter and use your device as normal. The premium cell USB power bank included in the adapter kit has many built-in features to ensure that power is delivered safely and efficiently. In fact, the rechargeable USB battery used in the adapter kit has output current stabilization, output voltage surge protection, auto shutoff/sleep mode(when not connected to device), battery cell protection, short circuit prevention, low voltage protection, and a battery charge percentage indicator to let you know how much battery life you have left. There is no reason to waste money on expensive disposable batteries, and with the IR Patrol/IR Hunter USB Power Adapter kit you can eliminate the recurring cost of disposable CR123A batteries. All USB battery configurations offered with the IR Patrol/IR Hunter adapter are outfitted with high-density Panasonic 18650 cells which offer 10% more efficency above other 18650 cells. These efficent batteries put more power in the same slim design of smaller competing batteries. Here are a few pics of the batteries in the battery pouch. All 3 of the batteries we currently offer will fit in this pouch. The 10,050 has a metal housing and smaller LED charge indicator lights. The 10,050 is surprisingly also a little smaller than the 9,600. Velcro sticks to the 10,050 metal housing much better than the rubber on the 6,400 and 9,600 mAh batteries, which means you can velcro the 10,050 directly to a helmet or on your rifle. All of the kits include the 6,400 mAh batteries and you can upgrade to the 9,600 or 10,050 or purchase separately. |

We have decided that a longer cable with a right angle USB will be offered for rifle mounting your USB battery pack and using it with the MK II or IR Patrol USB external power adapter. We are now including a right angle USB extension cable with the adapter kit. This allows you to use the IR Patrol on a helmet with the standard 16 inch USB power cable, or use the 8 inch extender when weapon mounting the IR Patrol.   |
