I have the cattail cap and No it’s not. I’d begrudgingly pay $40 for one but $100 is silly. It’s just printed pvc or urethane or something flexible. It is a necessary function, IMO /land the iRay cattail does it’s job… but it doesn’t work any better as an index than a $15 butler creek cap and thin strip of VHB tape to bond it in place. And the butler creek has a protective cap and push button to flip-open. I’d pay $100 if it were nicer and had an integral flip cap or was machined aluminum or something. |

I bought my PVS14 through them and their service, communication, and shipping times were top notch. |

I have an 02A which is great for all the reasons you mentioned but it doesn't have a push button. It's just a snap fit. |

Does anyone have solution for this? I use a spiritus GP wide on my PC with the spiritus nods foam insert. My NVGs when not in use go in the foam then the RH25 nests right beside them. Goes under my left arm out of the way and also protected that way. I don’t like the idea of anything on my chest/stomach in case you would need to go prone. |

Found a Wilcox Oasys mount on the EE for $150 and couldn’t resist modding the pictail adapter (removing the 1913 portion). If anyone needs an extra ADM mount I’ll let it go cheap. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

But that would be for RH25 on right eye. You need the KAC if you want to do RH25 left eye |

Can you friggin believe that shit! Now all I need to do is watch the video Frenchie sent me and get this sucker set up with the RH over LEFT eye and PVS14 over RIGHT eye! I'll post updates w pics if anyone wishes. |

When are you needing to magically switch between LPVO and thermal, but don't have 5 seconds to remove the RH25? Why is dovetail the standard with helmet mounted night vision instead of 1913 QDs? I’m surprised this needs any explanation… The ADM is a great product if you don’t plan on removing the thermal very often and always have two hands to use when removing it. In many cases, flipping to the side is far better than removing the thermal completely from the rifle (in the dark), which can lead to accidentally dropping it. Waiting for “Oh but I never make mistakes”. You must also do something with the thermal after taking it off such as stowing it somewhere. It isn’t easy or quick to attach the RH25 to the ADM mount in the dark with one hand. You are trying to line up a single 1913 rail slot into something you can’t see, and be able to also flip the locking lever while still holding on to the thermal so you don’t drop it. With the Oasys mount, you simply slide the thermal on to the mount, and it locks itself in place. Incredibly beneficial for anyone wanting to spot handheld and then attach quickly for a shot. “Use case” is irrelevant. Convince is convenience. If you don’t understand any of the above, then it makes me think that you probably haven’t used it as a clip-on while doing anything other than shooting from a bench, or you just aren’t concerned with the multi-role usability of the RH25. The RH25 is a multi-role thermal, and a flip-to-side mount adds even more versatility to the rifle it sits on. @jt526 how is the quality of that clone flip-to-side mount? I wouldn’t mind picking one up as a spare if it seems like it is decent/holds zero. |

When are you needing to magically switch between LPVO and thermal, but don't have 5 seconds to remove the RH25? the pvs 14 ( it is about 1" farther away from eye than the pvs is on my bridge.) this brings it into the right place on my setup, but needs a different style mount. Hence the FTS. I suppose I could make the picatinny part on the 3d printed part as well, and use the adm mount but would probably interfere with the objective focusing. this really only applies to the my specific setup (and others who may want to run bridged on an KVC). But overall they had a reason for the Oasys thermal that the mount is to be a flip to side as well. plan c is to sell the rqe and obverse shoe set for some stupid amount of money on Gunbroker and get a Wilcox bridge that is just way less cool but probably less screwing around |

But proof of concept is good, need to work on the mounting points they are trapezoid and I just made square holes, and lower it just a bit if possible. Now someone just needs to make one out of damn aluminum! Or I send off the stl to have like a powdered titanium one printed. Two companies are making them - but they aren't out yet. Scroll back a few pages to see some of my posts and you'll see the company info. (I cant remember off the top of my head, but maybe HRF and Overbore Solutions?) |

You did what I originally wanted to do, but my inner caveman got the best of me and I just took my whole unit and put it to a bench grinding wheel. Didn’t bother saving the 1913 section as I wasn’t that patient and had at least a few beers in me if I remember correctly. No biggie because I’ll never go back to the ADM having used the Oasys mount. We even share the same love of work bench organization |

Is the height of the RH-25 about the same in the Wilcox mount vs the ADM mount? If I'm seeing correctly it looks very close. I really like the functionality of that Wilcox mount, so now I'm tempted. Thanks in advance. |

Alright now. Having a tough time figuring out how to put all these pieces together to accomplish the Right vs Left eye Mission! Still cant get over that KA charges over $300 for two pieces! The part that goes around the Objective Lens fits but doesn't quite line up w the 2 ridges on the PVS14 as I think it should. Fast chance anyone else own one of these? ![]() iRay RH25 vs RL25 Comparison Is it just me or do these guys seem to not understand how to use the RH25 as a clip-on? They keep saying that they tried to match the RH25 reticle (as if using stand-alone zero menu) with the day optic reticle and then later said that it was nearly impossible. They didn’t mention the margin adjustments at all. Mind you, this is a business and YT channel putting out content as a means of educating people. |

I haven't yet used the RH25 as a clip on, so pardon my ignorance. So far it's been handheld only. But assuming your day optic is zeroed... wouldn't you simply clip the thermal on in front of it and aim with the day optic? Why attempt to coalign the two reticles? Similar to running a MUNS/PVS27 in front of a scope. |
