It has the Tremor3 reticle which is the same reticle as my S&B PMII 5-25x56 that I have in my 6.5CM so the familiarity and utility is there for me. The PMII is slightly clearer than the NX8, and to me the reticle seems thinner. I know it’s the same reticle and both FFP, but the NX8 T3 can be fully illuminated whereas the PMII just illuminates the dots. I think that’s why the NX8 T3 is thicker because of the illumination wire in the reticle. Or I’m completely crazy and making it up. I dunno. I think NX8 is a solid choice given it’s features and price range. It’s relatively short, it’s relatively lightweight, turrets are good, mag adjustment ring is smooth, excellent zero stops, good clear bright glass. All in all I have no complaints with it on my 18” LPR Mod 2 and think it would be right at home on the larger SR25’s. I’ve used it in several long range matches ranging from 200y to 1000y. At 900y and beyond it becomes difficult just from the limitations of the 77gr 5.56, but inside 600y I’m extremely confident with this setup. https://i.imgur.com/Ajw8Wll.jpg |

Awesome. Thanks! Did you try it on the offset option? Do you think it would work with NVG height wise?

I got used to piggyback when I ran ACOG's. I roll the rifle and quickly pick up dot with left eye. I love the ATACR at 1x, so unless I ran it fixed at 4x+, and used RMR as primary, I personally find the RMR to be mostly a backup sighting system, which is a debatable/ subjective topic. Currently just running the ATACR without the RMR on SR25. You may want to inquire with some dudes that run similar scope/ rd setups with NV, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well. |

Definitely don't get rid of the legacy for a mod 2, get both is the answer here.
The legacy is such a good looking rifle. |

Bottom looks a bit like Aervoe color KAC did them The SR-25 is whatever FDE cerakote they use now and the SR-15 is the original Taupe(KG Gunkote Flat Service Brown) same as the original M110. The color is a little off in this picture compared to real life, the ones I posted earlier are a closer match. In this picture it does look just like Aervoe Field Drab which is close to Taupe but a little too brown, Light Coyote is probably the closest Aervoe color I’ve found but it’s a bit off as well.
