I bought them when they were $25. The best user folder for the money. Easy to reshape on a work sharp. I really like the blade shape. Very thin and easy to carry.

I had 2 of the Kershaw Emerson's before I finally bought an actual Emerson.
For $35; it's a must buy. |

The Kershaw Emersons are the budget line. The D2 steel should be a big upgrade over the crappy Chinese steel they were using previously. That model is similar to the Emerson brand Horseman and CQC-8, so it should be a very user blade shape.
One downside is that it's on the heavier side at 5.8 oz. |

I'm a huge Emerson fan and own a bunch of real Emersons. I bought one of the Emerson designed Kershaws when they were first available. Like the person above I only paid around $25 for it and it was an absolute steal at that price. Kershaw's budget knives always surprise me, they make really nice stuff.
