Is there any advantage to change from my current carbine buffer tube with RB5000HP to an A5 buffer tube with a RB5007 or RB5015HD. Simulated full auto, 5.5” barrel, AB F4L suppressor, dedicated SBR that I do not intend to switch out uppers. Also what spring is recommended. I’m using a standard carbine spring now. I have found a lot of information about the KynSHOT products being used by other members, just not much on the RB5000HP. Thank you for your time.

That buffer is intended to be used with straight blowback 9mm AR's NOT with the CMMG RDB (Radially delayed blowback) system.

See my site here regarding my OLD CMMG RDB configuration: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=280
I have just about every Kynshot buffer made and brief comments on them here: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=325
To summarize, I do not like the HP, or HD as they have about 10lbs of force to compress which means more jolt to your shoulder.  Those are more appropriate for straight blowback setups that have a higher recoil impulse than a delayed blowback action or in a scenario where you cannot tune the gas of a gas operated setup.  The RB5007 (A5 length compressed) and the RB5005 (Carbine length compressed) both have about 5lbs to compress and barely feel it on the rearward stroke.  See my high speed video below.

I find the RB5007 to be my favorite and run it in many configurations and calibers including 556 w/ an A5 tube.
Regarding springs, I recently switched to the Warthog spring flat spring.  Previously used to use the Tubb LW or 556 spring.  The Warthog spring's strength is in between those two.
This is mentioned at the bottom of this page which is what I currently run, my hybrid fixed ejector CMMG Dissent in full auto: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=1733
Apex sells the Warthog spring for $20: https://www.apexgunparts.com/ar15-m16-flat-buffer-spring-new-us-made.html

Yes, I put that same link in my post above.  Here is a link to the manufacturer's site: https://www.neverwearsprings.com/index.php/product/ar15-warthog-flat-wire-buffer-spring-1-spring-26-00-ea/
"(It is compatible with the Rifle, the Carbine & the 308)"

My CMMG 5.5” RDB setup was originally with an A5 length tube and an A5H2 buffer and Tubbs flat 5.56 spring.

Recently switched to a regular carbine tube and the RB5005 hydraulic buffer with the same flat Tubbs 5.56 spring based on Amphibians testing and recommendations. I will say it’s extremely soft shooting, softer than the A5H2 setup and directly comparable to my MP5 when both are suppressed with my hand loads.

I think this is the setup it’s staying in for good. Have an Obsidian 45 on 3-lug tucked under a KAC 10.75 URX4

@Amphibian, how is that new Mean Arms mag working for you? I finally got my 40 rounder delivered last week but haven’t gotten to test it yet.

I don't fully trust them yet.  I have been trying to keep my site updated with testing here: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=598

Thank you for the link, always appreciate you publishing your tests and results. I also fully loaded the 40-rounder last week. Figured give it time for the spring to sit compressed and I wanted to see how the feed lips do with full pressure on them for a long time.

I may try to 3D print a cover to take pressure off the feed lips like Magpul does.

Also thanks for posting what MagLula works with the Endomags (Mfr Part number is LU11B). Ordering one now. Hope to find one for the ExoMags too
