So I got this upper in May 2012, it was part of a deal in which I got my registered lightning link from a gentleman in Oregon. So I don't know its origin. I shot it once a decade ago. And it just didn't do anything for me and it's been sitting ever since, everything is a thin coat of oil and it got dusty. But I didn't wipe anything down just so it is a more accurate depiction of the current condition. *** I don't think this bolt came in it. I'm sure it had a semi auto bolt that was relieved for the lightning link so I just stuck this one in there probably a long time ago, but I really don't remember.*** I was hoping you guys could tell me if this is a Colt or not and help me come up with the accurate price to sell it thank you Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I recall CDNN was blowing out a bunch of colt uppers in late 90s/early 00s and they had these LMG uppers available for maybe $700 if I recall correctly. I picked up a complete 16" Colt 6721 upper in the same sale for like $400. CDNN used to have some pretty good liquidations. |

It's too bad you don't have a set of the open-bolt FCG parts and the special bolt carrier to make it a turnkey throwback LMG, but very, very nice. I've given thought from time to time to make a set for my RRs, just as a machining challenge and to make a conversation piece. |
