Yeah, I mean you're not wrong - when I snagged my Mk11 can, you guys definitely had them in stock for a good while - things just went to hell after that.

That being said, I remember (not too long ago) when SR-25 lowers weren't a thing, so it's cool they introduced those to the market - that's definitely helped a bunch of us realize our SR-25/Mk11/M110 dreams (even if they're not technically 100% clone correct for us nerds). The fact that those are a commercial item is really cool.

And I'm hoping we'll finally see the 14.5 and 16 inch 6.5 uppers later this year as well - this thread needs some M110K7 clones!

Are they compatible with the factory KAC flash hider and gas block?  The M110 can is the only piece I need left for my USMC Mk11 Mod1.

Almost everything.

S&B PSR
S&B PMII 4-16x42
Leupould Mk5 3.6-18x44

Those are a few that I've definitely seen on Mk11 Mod 0s (that aren't listed on that site).

I haven't personally seen any Mk11s with an ATACR, but it doesn't mean a Ranger or some Green Beret hasn't thrown one on. I would venture to say yes, given the Mk11 Mod 0 is still being used in some capacity by the Army in particular (and probably some other branches as well).

Those are some great photos. Seems the Leupold M5A2 has been/currenty is being utilized on the M110 and MK11. That particular sope has caught my attention as of late. Seems the ATACR 4-20 is similar in function and size subtract the tall elevation turret.

I'm sure of it - they were used heavily on Mk13 variants - no doubt they ended up on Mk11 Mod 0s as well.

As you can probably elude to I’m looking for an excuse to use a 5-25 instead of the 3-18 on the LMT M110 I’m trying to get going since griffin released the MGL110. Of course it’ll never be near clone correct but it’ll look like it from a distance…if you squint lol.

(On edit: fixed links to pictures)

It's taken several years and I have given up on finding an affordable KAV Mk 11 suppressor, but here's my project to date:

Here's where is started (A salty case I bought in 2019):

Scope serial number prefix is for a 2005-06 NightForce 3.5-15x scope:

Poor man's LMT lower:

Still need a few parts to finish it, but it's getting closer:

Scope is a 2005-6 dated NF Mil-Spec 3.5-15x, to match the case:

Historical note re Nightforce scopes. As most folks know, the Mk 11 Mod 0 was originally issued with Leupold Vari-X 3.5-10x scopes back in the early 200X era. Nightforce won it's first contract with SOCOM until July 2005, so after that date NF scopes start showing up on various platforms made at Crane: MK 11 Mod 0, Mk 13 Mod 0/1/3, and Mk 14 Mod 1 rifles (these are often marked MIL-SPEC, NAV-SPEC, etc)  The original NF scopes from that contract award were NSX models in the 2.5-10x, 3.5-15x, and 5.5-22x magnification range. Not always appreciated, but different commands requested different reticles on the 3.5-15x NF scopes, and the US Army requested some spoecific BDC elevation depending on application. (As far back as 2005, there were different reticle requirements for SEALs vs Rangers vs Special Forces using the same NF 3.5-15x scope). NF won it's second contract with SOCOM five years later in 2010, and various other NF scopes were part of that award, but I don't have the details re the 2010 award.

My point re "correct" scopes of the Mk 11 Mod 0?  It depends on the end-user, and the era (ie, 2000-05, 2006-2010, and post-2010).  Based on my old DRMO's Mk 11 case, my rifle was retro-fitted with a NF scope presumably sometime after mid-2005 or 2006 era.

What is the proper cerakote color for a MK11 barrel to make it look correct? Graphite Black(H-146), Armor Black (H-190), Sniper Grey(H-234), Tungsten(H-237), or something else?

Well it's probably because MK11 barrels aren't cerakoted. Replicating that silverish color with cerakote is pretty difficult.

Specifically trying to replicate what I assume is Parkerizing on the Obermeyer chrome moly vanadium barrel used on the Mod 0. As I understand it the only SS barrels on the MK11 type guns were prototypes???(Like the one pictured in the Vickers guide) Additionally, I have one of Nefarious's unfinished gas blocks that needs to be coated to look right.

Yeah, it's hard to explain but if the cerakote doesn't have like the black "flakes" it's already not going to look right. The barrels when blasted or treated are like a gray and black, so if you spray it with just a solid color without flakes it still looks off. Maybe that will help a little.

Yeah - probably only going to get so close.

As good as PSA's H&R retro M16 stuff is, their cerakoted gray receivers aren't exactly a 1 for 1 match to an original from the 60s. Don't get me wrong, they look fine, but if you're that anal about the finish matching an original - that gray cerakote alone isn't ever going to satisfy you.

And I'm not knocking you - I'm anal about these sorts of things too (probably most of us here are hah), so I totally get it.

If it does not have the metalic flake, it's super noticeable. When you paint with the flake, you want to go really high on the ratio to keep it from being glossy (24:1).

I've tried to match barrels, not saying it couldn't be done but it's time consuming and I think people's expectation that it will 100% match a factory finish is unrealistic.

A certified Cerakote shop should be able to show you all the various shades of black and dark grey with their sample cards. Fwiw, I did a restoration of a 1972 WRA M1200 shotgun into a M1200 Trenchgun. I re-parkerized the steel parts (barrel, barrel nut, etc) but the receiver and trigger guard is aluminum, so that was the challenge.

So, I took parts to the local Certified Cerakote shop and they selected a gray that looks darn close to parkerizing.

I don't recall what specific color this was, but it's doable.
As for Parkerizing finish, it depends on surface prep and general wear afterwards. Based on old M1 Garand parts, it can get shinier with oil and rubbed a bit.
