Sven Manticore Arms On the Test Prototypes it would be the piston guide tube sleeve section which is a .625 OD centered at .781 from the bore centerline so it is 1.0935. Production parts may differ slightly but if anything will be narrower but probably not by much. |

I am looking to change handguards to a Centurion now that the piston and front sight are going to be available. Centurion Cutout Rail Attached File The idea is to have the rail protect the gas block and the front sight is clear above |

It may be possible to add different styles of rails via a different barrel nut but id have to get them in hand and see what can be done first. They would all require a custom barrel nut. There are some dimensional restraints to consider with the piston guide/vent tube running the length of the barrel from the gas block back. If you wanted to use that rail the front sight would be 90 degrees off on the lima six with my system. I recommend the RRH camino cut handguard. It also has the side benefit of looking pretty rad. Then your customer base opens up. None the less, I love this project! I need to get after my idea for a charging handle and bipod. |

Thanks Harvey! another small update, Good Progress has been made on the RRH rail adapter and we expect to have a test article available when I am down in Idaho for some testing with Cody at RRH. There are exciting things to come on this front as well. I just spoke with the machine shop and they said that some parts are done including the Carrier Anchors. They confirmed they are still on target for parts to be completed by June 23rd. Im looking into some quick prototype shops to see if in addition to the rail risers I'm having prototyped (they probably won't make it to production), I can get some of my hooded style fixed front sight bases produced. I want to avoid having a bunch of part numbers/versions of things to make and because of that, I'll most likely only be producing one of the two styles of fixed front sights. I am OCD about things matching so there will already be two different part numbers instead of a compromise middle ground where you have a front sight that is either screwed in or out bit farther. I like the radius on the bottom to match closely and I want these to be as functional and aesthetically pleasing as possible. As my dad always said "If you want to play well you better look good doing it." |
| I don't know why I didn't think of this before, I implemented a very simple solution to reconcile the differences in height for the fixed front sights between the 875 and the 750 gas blocks. I now only have 1 universal sight for each style that will work on either gas block. We will see what I decide to make. I may still start with one and see where things go. |

I see alot of people using the Occam defense rear sight so I modified one of my hooded front sights to cowitness with their shorter rear sight. I might make a few of these as well. Attached File |

| I read on your website that it will be only be available via sending it in to get the conversion done. What about people with RRH RPD uppers? Can we get it as a kit to assemble on our RPD uppers? RPD is fully disassembled for Cerakote and it would be sweet to get this added eventually but taking this RPD apart is a bit interesting with the heat sinks. |

The conversion requires permanent modification to the upper receiver. I am more than happy to do this for anyone that wants to purchase a kit and then reassemble for them. With respect to the RRH RPD kits already built I would say to contact them about that process as I’m not sure what he has planned to offer in that regard. |

Prototype Kits are shipping to Nitriding tomorrow. Beta testers will have their kits hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks as long as nitriding doesn't get delayed significantly. They quoted me a 5 day turnaround time. If you are a Beta tester I have reached out with relevant information via email. |
