I need something for the corner of our bedroom that won’t be an eyesore so the wife will allow it! Anyone found a decently aesthetic, lockable, sturdy ammo & gear storage cabinet? I’m not looking for professional level locks, just something to keep kids and the average nosey person out. |

Oak Armoire See if you can find a guy in your area who is a custom cabinetmaker and run the idea past him, or build one yourself with a Craigslist used router, saw and some hardwood. If there is a store in your area that sells exotic hardwoods like Bacote, Ebony, Teak, Cocobolo you can dress up an oak cabinet with those for trim. You’re just building a big wooden box. Or look at antique stores for a cabinet to start with you can reinforce it add a lock, attach an interior mini pistol safe or Scottlock |
