| Im in the market for a new pcc or new to me pcc in 9mm and have about $2500 to spend but I'm just stuck on what I should buy. I originally thought about a kuna or ap5 and putting a bunch of the extra money into it to make it my own. The gun a would really like to have is the apc9 or spc9 but everyone wants a arm and leg for these firearms no matter if new of used. Is there any other pcc I'm missing? I don't want another ar15 style pcc but something I will keep for a long time. Thanks for the help with this |

Depending on type of mags you already own Nexus evo Like a scorpion but delayed blowback. I got a receiver to swap my normal scorpion and it's pretty soft shooting. Not mp5 soft but it's nice https://nexusfirearms.com/nexus-evo-gen-2/ |

Taurus has a new one (RPC) that is getting very good reviews, it's roller delayed. Zenith ZF9, also roller delayed and to be released any day now. Matador Mat9, roller delayed AND hydraulic buffer. Look on Youtube, here's more than a few comparison videos, Classic firearms has a very comprehensive one. If I recall the Beretta Direct blowback won (no longer in production), it's early enough you may find a leftover new one. |

They apparently only imported enough to distribute to YouTube influencers. There is also one review, Honest Outlaw I think, where his was a jam-o-matic. The gun that won the Classic Firearms comparison is the Beretta PMXs. I have one, and think it’s nice, especially for a direct blowback gun, but don’t think it’s better than the SP5, or some of the others in their comparison. YMMV. |

Especially with PSA emails… I got rid of my AP5-P (SP5K clone) and replaced it with a Kuna. I like the Kuna a lot more. It's kinda like comparing an AR to an AK for me. Machined aluminum and polymer vs stamped and welded steel. The Kuna has modernized controls, feeds flat nose 147grain (which my AP5-P wouldn't), and has last round bolt hold open. The MP5's have the cool factor going but I just never warmed up to the controls and quirks. The Kuna is a lot more user friendly I think, especially for someone more used to AR's. |

Last range outing I shot my SP9A3 back to back with a PTR MP5. The MP5 had a much worse trigger, it was heavier, softer, and had better iron sights. I do want to try the different locking piece on the Bog, as I have heard it makes it a bit smoother (not bad as it is) and I wish someone made HK style sights for it, but I definitely do not regret picking it over the AP5 I was looking at. They are honestly both good. I had an AR9 that was ok, but the roller guns are so much better. I still want a PSA AK-V but that is mostly because I think they look fun with cheap mags. |
| I found a b&t apc9g with the collapsible brace for $2200 and I'm going to pull the trigger. The only thing I dislike is the glock lower based on the angle of the mags but I can eventually change that for a cz scorpion magazine lower. |

I have an sbr stribog SP9A3 with the upgraded buffer and rollers, and I love it. It doesn't shoot as smooth as an MP5 clone but is lighter with a better trigger and controls. I have only used the new Stribog mags and haven't had any issues, but I've heard the old mags did cause issues. You can get a new lower for them to take pretty much any mag you want though. I built it a few years ago, but with the current options on the market now I'd also consider a matador arms roller delayed blowback or the Springfield kuna if I were in the market. I think someone is coming out with a roller delayed upper for the Mac 11 clones and that would be an interesting option too, especially with a Free State Gun Co SAS-M8 lower. But my final answer is that you should build a semi-auto STEN MK2 in your garage. |
| I have two: Stribog SP9A3S with an A3 lower that takes scorpion mags and AR triggers and a Scorpion 3+. I suggest you get something that takes scorpion mags since MagPul is making them for about $15/ea. The scorpion shoots everything you put in it and NEVER jams. Ever. The stribog will not shoot hollow points but otherwise NEVER jams. I recommend you never buy anything from Taurus. Their quality control is terrible. I have a buddy with an AR9 (don't know which but it takes special AR size mags that hold 9mm) and it is a jamaholic. He gets a lot of practice clearing malfunctions. |
| What everyone's thoughts on a b&t spc9 pdw? It takes to b&t mags and I know kci makes mags for the spc9 now and lingle has a cz scorpion lower but is hard to find in stock. I really like the look of the spc9 but could get something else and build it up. Im just not sure what I'm going to do |

Im just not sure what I'm going to do I personally prefer the APC9 over the SPC9 as it has flat rear so you can get a fully collapsing stock or a folder, plus doesn’t have an unnecessary AR style charging handle to provide a potential gas leakage path when running suppressed. Expect to pay high prices for B&T stuff right now after the collapse of B&T USA. |

I like PCC for the fun factor, and have 4 at this time. An old school AR-15 SBR build with a 4 inch barrel. I used the magazine insert with colt style mags. I'm running a heavy buffer and it won't run low power 115gr ammo. I mostly use 147gr with an old YHM 9mm can. Could be a fun FRT project, but... picked up a MKE AP5-P, SBR'd it, and added a Lee Sporting lower with a SS from Warhammer. Never had any issues running any different type of ammo, and run it 100% suppressed with Omega 9K. Probably gets the most use at the range, and I'm one of the fortunate ones that got a good build from MKE and runs without parts changes. I added a Stribog SP10A3 because I have a a lot of 10mm ammo. SBR'd and paired with an Omega 45. TBH, the can helps a bit but the ammo is still supersonic so it's not too quiet compared to the sub-sonic 9mm guns. I do like how hard it hits steel targets and is more accurate than I expected. The MKE AP5-SD is the latest addition, and it was based on how cool I think it looks. I got a Rare Greed 3 position trigger as a thank you gift, and SBR'd it On the fence right now choosing a dedicated suppressor. I have a CGS Model 9 on it now, but it looks too skinny for me so I'm shopping to a fatter can that looks the part. I had a couple of CZ Scorpions, Kel-Tec Sub2000, Freedom Ordnance FX9, but none of those were keepers. If I could only keep one, it would be the AP5-5 with the Lee Sporting lower. Lighter than the rest, better ergos for me, and a smaller overall package. The only issue I'm having now is the closest ranges to me won't allow FRT fun since yahoos like to send pills all over the place. |

| I like the Kuna so much I’m thinking of buying a second. It’s just a really well made firearm, reasonably priced, simple design, ultra reliable, modern controls, suppresses fairly well, and good inexpensive mags. I really have nothing to complain about (and I tend to complain a lot…) |

Have Ruger PC9 long handguard model. It's direct blowback, recoil spring is light, bolt slams back pretty hard, it's completely reliable and has a lot of port pop suppressed. It will run light handloads that have less port pop. Edit to fix mistake: 115 gr Monarch sc is subsonic out of a SW MP Shield, the threaded barrel is about 3.5", have not chrono graphed 115 gr out of a 4.5" barrel lately but it's probably supersonic from a Glock 17. Glock 17 4.5" barrel shoots 115 gr Monarch steel case PTR9 is really sweet shooting. 4.5" barrel or so, with can gives you quiet (with ammo that is subsonic, heavier bullet or lighter load). New Taurus has that bbl length maybe. If it worked, it would be excellent. 38spl lever gun with can is really quiet but far less reliable feeding than most semi-auto PCCs. Light Cowboy Action style "mouse fart" loads are very quiet without a suppressor and even better with the can. Apologies for the obvious mistake in barrel length for subsonic cheap ammo. |

Not really I do shoot suppressed but I also use supersonic as Im not going for super quiet. I do not notice noise difference Only recoil (much less with Nexus) |
