| A long time ago, I saw a graphic on the web that was a black and white map of all the companies that made the M1 carbine. It was interesting to note that they were basically clustered in two areas - roughly Michigan and NY/CT. Unfortunately, I don't think I saved the graphic and can't for the life of me find it again, despite numerous Google image searches. Does this sound familiar to anyone else and would anyone know where I would find this map? |

| Wow, I appreciate you taking that much time to look! I'm still searching....hoping I either have it in a downloads folder somewhere or I bookmarked the page where I saw it. Problem is, that's across my computer, my tablet, my old tablet and my phone, lol. If I happen to find it I'll come back here and post it. |

I still haven't found the map, but I'm just copying manufacturer name/location/production data from uscarbinecal30.com and putting it in a text file. Better than nothing and at least I'll have the info I'm looking for. I swear I'm not going crazy (this time) and really did see this graphic I'm talking about at one time or another, though! Such is life on the interweb, I guess. |
