The triangle marked clips are German if I recall,came on some Greek ammo. Problem is if I recall correctly is the Greek spec for 30/06 uses a .308 rim cut out. If the ammo you are using is American spec 30/06 it will wobble and stack weird in those clips. This was my experience. They will absolutely work,but are just kinda wonky. ETA LC on left,HXP on right  Notice the difference in the extraction groove size between American and Greek clips.

Well I just bought 10 of the ammogarand ones, wish the GI ones were not so pricey. I just put in the packet for a 308 garand, now I need to find a pile of clips and a sling. Oh and 308 ammo. |

If by "old school" ammo pouches I'll assume you mean cotton canvas stuff; web gear in other words. I bought a few of the Greek military pouches that Apex used to have and they are my favorites by a wide margin. They aren't as cheap as they used to be, but they sure are stout, and easily integrated into US GI systems. |

Sarco has en bloc clips listed at $3/each, it goes down to $2.5/each if you buy 50. I just put my order in for 50, then they charge you 30 bucks shipping... it comes out about $3.10 each to your door... It isn't the .50 each I remember when I worked in a gunshop, but that has been a few years ago  .
