I've been looking into getting this suppressor for a while and I saw that it fits onto A2 flash hiders. I was curious to see if they fit onto extended ones like the Daniel Defense one. I see that Griffin at least sends a muzzle device with their suppressor, so I'm not too worried about it but it would save me time and having to buy tools.

Not the best approach. The only "tools" you'll need is an adjustable wrench... Maybe a spline tool if your existing A2 flashhider is on really tight.

Oh ok. But does that mean it won't fit extended flash hiders then?

Extended A2’s don’t have an .862” diameter ring where the suppressor front support is (at A2 length), so they won’t mount the can properly.
