Lets face it, what else can you shoot on a weekend like this? 2 M1 carbines and my M1 Garand
1st up, the 1944 Inland on the right.
50 rounds 50 yard bench rested. First 25 rounds I'm tweaking the sight a tad, I settle it down and change targets
Same distance 50 rounds, I figure the big hole in the middle is showing me I'm on target, time for the next gun.
The "Howa" made in Japan Carbine. 50 rounds again benched at 50 yards. Decent groups.
Last 50 rounds, last 20 standing 50 rounds. I'm pulling to the left a bit freehand but figure the bad guy is toast still.
Now the Garand, 6 clips plus 2 stray rounds for 50 total, 75 yards benched this time.
I started out a tad low but gave it 1 click up that helped. I've only run 200 rounds on this Garand before today, it spent some time at Fulton Armory getting reparked and I had a 2nd Garand I was using as a shooter before I sold it last year when I was out of work.
Decent day overall
