Has anyone done this, and is it even worth the effort? You can buy a modded one from HK Parts but they want $240 for it, but it looks like they just zipped down the rear a little, and drilled/countersunk a pin hole, then painted the safety markings for a $190 markup.

Definitely possible and not that hard to do. I admittedly didn't do a great job locating the pin holes though. Attached File |
