I snagged one of the first batch of Rhodie 6 TIs that went up for sale a few weeks ago, though I probably won't get it for at least a month more. I did hear that they are coming out with the TI version of the Rhodie 6k next, sometime in June. Given that the reviews on the 6k are so positive all around, kind of tempted to pick up one of those as well. |

Just got mine to the range, it was awesome. Did a couple shots without ears, no discomfort, ringing or the instant regret of trying that like my old yankee hill cans. It doesn’t have that sound of striking a steel plate with a ball peen hammer. This with no ears was more comfortable than wearing ear pro while someone next to me was shooting a pistol. Gas was noticeable, but it’s on a rifle with zero gas mitigation as of yet. A buddy was there with a full-size surefire can and it sounded pretty comparable. For the size and cost I was incredibly impressed. |

Review is up! Very impressive little can, love this thing. There's some comparison footage in here of me shooting it vs the EchoCore Sector 556, the Infinity 556K, and OCM6 all on a 14.5. I've gotta say that it really holds it's own, especially for how small this thing is. |

So hopefully shouldn't suffer from the brittle baffle syndrome. I've honestly come to like it on 16" or longer rifles. I have a 20" rifle it will probably live on. |

I can’t wait to see what comes out in the next year or so. I want to pick up a K can for a 10.5 and right now with 4473 transfers here it’s tempting. The Rhodie and Tisha seem to be the hot ticket and I’ve seen none in stock locally. I expect that with the 3d printing that prototypes and testing have went into warp drive for most places. At the end of the day, I want the least amount of compromise in each area. Currently, I’m using a rugged radiant and the short configuration.. With the explosion of manufacturers, it will be interesting to see if prices get a bit more competitive. The Ridgeback line at the $850 mark are obviously profitable. To see anything that is over $1000 seems to be unnecessary. The Tisha is almost a 50% increase in price. They’re worth what people will pay so we’ll see if that dynamic changes. |
