So putting my Tirant 9M on my AP5, I end up having to tap the can off with a rubber mallet. No issues on the four other guns I have Griffin 3 lugs on. I really dont want to go direct thread or send back to Century. What are my options? Should I try and file them? Maybe try some metal polish? Mount another 3 lug mount to the threaded portion of the barrel? That might look funny....... Any thoughts or input appreciated. |

| One of my AP5s was REALLY tight on the 3 lug with a CGS suppressor. I ended up getting a slick thread protector instead of the knurled version and then hitting the lugs with a super fine grit sand paper to just knock the finish off the high points. Worked perfectly until I sent it off to be converted to an SD. |
