Rifling machine broke and it didnt get caught in QC before being shipped out the door. Nobody checked the bore until it was too late. Wont take back under warranty. So I can spend a little money and buy a new barrel and have it fitted at H&R factory. Or I can have it rebored myself into something different. I picked .45acp. And since the barrel was already cut to 16" and threaded 1/2x28, there is no way I can keep it at 16" and thread 5/8x24 for my UMP45 or Osprey45 suppressors. So I SBR'd it down to 10 or so inches and had a custom extractor fab'ed up. Probably the most expensive Handi Rifle, but its neat and one of a kind. Ill get better pics when I have time. http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/6972/photojrj.jpg Ha! I have a few $1000 -$200 guns too. |

The 762-SD used the 18T, then the 51T, then was recently discontinued. The SCAR-H SD was a 7.62 can that used the 51T MITER mount like the one you have, similar to the mount for the SPR-M4. It was also discontinued. |
