Picked up an OKC3S last year at a gun show in good condition for cheap. The sheath was intact but I noticed the blade rattles a lot when sheathed even with the tie down strap snapped in. Is there a piece that goes in the mouth of the sheath to quiet that or a diy fix i can use?
Will post pictures later today or tomorrow. |

One thing you might try is to pull the plastic liner out if you can, and put it in boiling water for a minute and take it out and flatten it slightly. |

It didn’t look like there was a liner in it. That may be the issue.

I have a couple of OKC Chimera knives that have the same sheath. They came with a metal clip in the throat of the sheath that scrapes the blade everytime it's removed and reinserted in the sheath. Once removed, the blades rattle around.
