I've been thinking about ordering one thinking that I can actuate the pressure switch with my trigger finger when the light is needed. Not too sure though and would like some of your feedback. Also a pic as to not be a free loader. |

It lets you cradle the Aug and keep really good control while turning corners and also allows you to use your normal trigger finger by far better then the above method. Still not the perfect set up but one that is not bad.. http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag145/sparks556/BB8E3BE6-9F82-4221-AA39-5021D7788E10_zps7obyzti0.jpg By far the best is running a pressure pad in this location this way I can wrap the gun more comfortable and still have all hands feeling natural while operating the gun and light.. http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag145/sparks556/7554779A-2DEE-4410-B6C0-AF007512A26B_zpsyaxexuzk.jpg Not sure if that helps.. The only thing about the Aug and Tavor that is tuff is mounting a light effectively were you can run it fast on and off while be concertante on the gun I am sure others might have better set ups then what I got but so far these to have worked the best.. View Quote Thanks for the write up sparks, I keep going back and forth on the wml or a surefire mini scout like you have on your other rifle with a click tail cap and just dealing with the always on or off. |

Much appreciated Spark! Renesis knows my gun hack jobs are second to none lol
I found this part on GB one day and decided to give it a shot: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=419463072 Very straight forward with the exception of how you have to splice into the weaponlight switch (they use the inner core for positive and a ground sheath to close the circuit). This means you have to ground one wire to the exposed sheath while not touching the inner core. If you take your time and cut cleanly this shouldn't be a problem :-). After that its as simple as cutting the wires coming from the new switch to length and a little glue to keep the button in place. Also note if you keep the wires too long they may get jammed up in the action make sure the wires are going under the barrel and don't have too much slack to ride up (Experience learning). |

I have been a die hard Geissele fan since I put one in my scar 16 and the fever is continuing into my DD M4A1 and HK MR762 platforms. I will hold out a little longer.... |

At 100 yards its effortless to lay in accurate fire. |

It'd fit, I just don't currently have a light setup for it and am figuring out how I want to do it, so in the meantime i'm using the WML. |
