I guess this may be the best place to ask on the current runs of the PS90. Thinking over some rifles I have and maybe moving them along to pick up something different. A small neat gun to have fun with, reasonable accurate to 100, maybe further. Zero plans to reload, while not cheap, ammunition isn't to bad. I have a few things already, 9mm subs, .300 and .223, the rifles referenced above are more of distance use and require another range trip to get to that venue. *Accuracy-I know ammunition dependent, with a red dot, what can one expect at 50/100? *I don't plan to do much other than add something like a lower height rail and a "T1" type optic *Don't care about mods such as triggers, etc. etc. *Zero interest in "cheaper" platforms, meaning I'm in the BT/HK, etc space. *Part of moving the rifles is time spent developing a precision load, traveling to shoot more than 100 yards, especially when I have enough to satisfy that part, plus reducing my reloading footprint. I think, if you just want the PS90 experience. Get one.. Base on your response tho..APC9K PRO G → TP9-N → PS90 Hits your criteria's of: Small/neat Fun factor Already owns ammo Simple red dot Doesn't feel like settling Adds Premium “BT/HK” feel and Avoids another caliber and is a tiny 9mm range gun that happens to be perfectly happy at 100 yards. |

It is very small. Very light. Very reliable. The thing that got my ps90 to choke was a dip in silty mud water. The magazine stack would freeze at the 90° turn from the silt and dust. You palm strike the back of the magazine and the rounds go forward again. This was towards the end of the mag I'm talking last 10 rounds or so. Aside from that it is very reliable. |

I just bought an FN 10-rd magazine from Mag Warehouse to replace an American Tactical Systems magazine that quit working. I opened the box, used a screwdriver to depress the base plate lock, removed the block and spring, disconnected the spring from the block, put the base plate lock from the ATS magazine on the spring and reassembled the magazine. It took maybe 10 minutes including unpacking and doing it carefully to keep the rollers in place. Your reality may vary, but I've never had it be a problem. |

Update Well, I mounted the HBI mount from FN Specialties, Holosun ARO. Initial bore sight at home then a quick 25 yard verification. Followed by an outdoor trip to zero at 50, check offset at 25 and 7. I will later on test some other loads and also check at 10 and 15-oh and 100. Might tweak the zero a tad, maybe up 1 "click" Federal AE 40 FMJ was used for this initial trip. Not bad for the platform, overall good to go. Hopefully will test this week.
