Normally, these threads only start when somebody has an issue that wasn’t resolved properly. In this case, I have to say these guys really have been a pleasure to deal with.
Even though they sold me a properly working K model They’re locking piece spec was slightly undersized on all the early models, which is what have. This thing is always been reliable with the stock locking piece so no complaints I finally picked up an RCM number 28 locking piece which doesn’t fit to shoot suppressed. Not only are they going to do a new bolt for me and fit the locking piece they didn’t even asked me to pay shipping. Keep in mind I’ve owned this thing for years. I suppose that was industry standard on how to treat people at one point but these days it’s become rare The gentleman who helped me, I wish I could remember his name. He had a slightly Hispanic sounding accent. Anyway, I thought I’d share These guys are in my home state so I had to show them some love. Just for information, their spec was a couple thousands thinner. I probably could’ve hand fitted it with fine grit sandpaper on granite. |

I've owned PTR products since 2006 and this has always been my experience as well.

I broke a piece when I was installing a brace on a PTR pistol and they sent me a replacement for free.
Good company! |

Had an issue with the tri-lug mount not fitting my suppressor. They sent me a shipping label. Sent it in, and it was back to my door inside of 10 days.

I found their CS to be great. My 9CT had an issue with hammer follow when I first got it. They sent me a whole lower and trigger group for free.

It’s nice to see a company still doing a good job while most others are 💩

My PTR 9 CT CL had an out of spec ejector out of the box. Two emails and 4 days later I had a replacement on my porch.
No complaints here. |

Weird. I haven't received any callback or email response on the update on my rifle repair.
Prior to sending it in I spoke with their main CS Rep. Rocky M. Got their RMA and shipped it back to PTR over a month ago. I also calling at 8am EST when their office opens and I can never get ahold of someone. Just trying to figure out how far along before their warranty specialist can take a look at it. |

I just wanted to add my recent experience with PTR's customer service. Bought a a PTR-K3P late 2023. Shot around 75 rounds out of it. Experienced FTE and then some roller dents showed up. Assuming it's because of the locking piece that was sent with the rifle which most people say is incorrect (RCM LP on the way).
Getting a hold of them through the website didn't really work. I always find calling anyone gets quicker and better results. Spoke with Rocky and he quickly got me an RMA. Sent the pistol in around mid June. Received tracking information a few days ago. Received a completely new pistol yesterday. Didn't pay for any shipping costs. Good to go in my book. |

View Quote I had a very similar experience for pretty much the same case. Bought a new 9K, didn't even fire it before I put an RCM LP (I knew I was going to shoot +P NATO loads in it with a stock and can) in or more accurately, tried to. Wouldn't fit so I called them and they said send the LP and gun back to them. They fit the bolt and LP and shipped it back to me very quickly. No problems since. |

I got the 9KT a couple of years ago.
Had FTE and FTF. I either called or emailed but quickly received a paid shipping label. If memory serves, they replaced the barrel. Anyway, they had it back in my in 2 weeks and it ran like a top. I wish I hadn’t traded that gun. |

Just putting my experience on PTR’s Customer’s Service.
I bought a PTR MP5 without top rail from PTR when they had them on sale for $999. Anyway, my magazine release lever wouldn’t move to remove magazines. The side push button barely worked. I called PTR about this requesting a fix. I received my RMA info and UPS return shipping label that day. I shipped it out and it was delivered to PTR on 16 Oct 2024 and I received it back on 26 Oct 2024. The packing list said they replaced the paddle mag release and adjusted the mag well. It works as it should now. |
