So contacted this company 4 years ago and they just replied to my email

They now have a licensing agreement for the cord for a pvs 14 and are accepting orders.

I wanted to be able to use a remote battery pack with my pvs 14 this makes it possible.

Yes I know some of you will say but WHYYY pvs 14 runs 40-50 hours on a AA but this is merica and I want what I want ! So if this is something you wanted here’s your chance!

So finally got everything set up. This is a really niche item but has some very positive features and use cases when combined with certain items.

So obviously you can use common l3 or clone FMA external battery packs which is a VERY nice feature.

The other thing it now allows me to do is use one of these

So now I can in a pinch use common power banks or use the external battery boxes.

With the extended runtime and not having to worry about batteries ever puking inside my expensive NVD I think this is a very nice item. Combine that with this off the grid power cord and you really have a nice light weight shtf unit that can be powered in a variety of ways with extended run time. With how common battery banks or solar panels generators ect are I think this is a nice set up with a variety of uses.
