Missing a copper strip in my battery compartment, runs from the inside bottom along the length of the battery compartment (has a grove it goes in).
Saw a post that stated I could a little copper wire, glue it to the bottom & place it in the grove.
Questions
1) can I use any little copper wire? What’s recommended?
2) what type of glue to use to secure wire at the bottom?

I shouldn’t have to buy housing unit for this.

Vr,
Brent

Best bet would just be to replace the battery cap. Any half-assed fix will only bring you frustration. Here are a few options to replace it or just the copper piece.
