  started out as a $150 blued carbine 18" SS green mountain barrel Revival Yukon in Electric Blue Simmons 44MAG 6.5-20x44 with sunshade Volquartsen Target Trigger Target Hammer Bolt Buffer Mag Release Extractor 10/22 Magnum bolt handle Harris BR bipod Sear drilled and tapped for adjusment Reciever and Trigger Group stripped and polished Stock glassbedded Internals polished Magnetic Trigger return installed Bolt Chamfered probably some other stuff i forgot as well. it never ends. im thinking about getting a TAC 65 or ouback II for it next. i took a rasp and sandpaper to my factory stock after buying the yukon. dyed it black and gave it about 20 coats of wipe-on-poly.

The latest addition to the rim-fire family:  The R22 with a few mods, new trigger group (JP) A2 grip and flash hider, extended cocking handle, and occationally a T8 sound moderator for those stealthy moments

I'm going paint krazy!  OD Green Kylon:   Both of my rifles were all black. I needed a change. This turned out much better than the black did.  ETA: It looks like the scope is touching the bbl., it's not. There is about a 1/8th inch of space in between. Just the angle the pics were taken @. |

SteveG, That is nice. Mine is set up very similar. I have the B&C Anschutz Target stock, GM 18" Fluted, and Swift 669MA 6-18x44. I need to send it off to CT Precision to have the action and trigger tuned when I have the time. My question for you is, what kind of bipod is that and is designed to fit on the B&C stocks with the flat fore ends? I'm setting mine up for both bench and varmint work so I need a good bipod when I'm in the field. |
