I have the pop on and off brass deflector. I like it . But easy to knock off or get it to slide down the rifle. So I took a Velcro kit and solved it. The kit is a roll that has the tape backing. For this works great. Problem solved with me using this style deflector. Next is I got an AUG cleaning kit in. Well the oil bottle is slightly to tall. Pressing up the tab cover. I could get the butt pad in but really had to press into it. I saw a post on a search where this is common. The guy drill a hole in the cover for the oil bottle to stick through. I did the same thing . It works. Yes my oil bottle top was screwed on all the way. I thought the same thing. Lol. I blotched drill the hole everything slipped. But it’s all good. | My bottle leaked so I ditched it years ago. Earlier today, before seeing this thread, I decided to find a tiny graphite container. Found a pound of powder and ten .5ml needle point bottles for less than $20 at Walmart.com. Should be good for a while. 😃 |

It was the little piece that fit inside the ejection port I believe. However I now have a better printer of my own, and printed new ones from glass filled nylon, so I am hoping that holds together better. Almost want to just chop off the back end of the 3D deflector design and simply glue it to the stock, and thus keep any plastic out of the ejection port. Just not sure about which adhesive to use… |

The Aug is a right handed gun. I don’t try to make it’s something it’s not. That’s why we have AR’s

Just not sure about which adhesive to use… The carbon fiber ones I printed are so rigid I did not think they were going to bend / flex enough to get it in the port. If I was inclined to cut the locking tabs off I would put a bead of RTV adhesive between it and the stock. Strong bond, flexible and does not hurt the stock if you want to remove it. |
