I like how all the parts bags are numbered 
First impressions Not a lot of plastic parts , looks and feels like parts a well made and good instructions.

Assembly is fairly easy just fallow the instructions.
Here are son notable tips. Don't over tighten this screw. If you do the case transfer bar wont go all the way in. 
When you install the spring set screw make sure it's in enough so it dosnt rub on the aluminum bracket next to it. 
The case bar rides up in the groves and down along the back side. This is important to know . 
You have a gate on the back that's spring loaded to keep it from going back down 
So this little guy is a spring used to slow down the case bar. I broke mine because of the press mounting bolt was to long and I didn't realize it in time. Make sure you have clearance because your adding more parts and it makes it thicker in that area. I was able to adjust the spring down so it still works. 
On the main tube housing you have 2 screws and 3 set screws. The 2 larger screws only to hold it in place while you adjust it. Don't over tighten. The 3 smaller one are what will secure your alignment after its adjusted. 
If the main tube housing isn't aligned right it will cause cases to drop all over the place and will damage the release plunger , pic below.

Dang.. lots of parts.
Does the manual specify case diameter for the drop tube or can you tell? Recall they sell a package which includes two other sizes for larger and smaller cases. I have that on backorder too. I also would like to know if those tubes I backordered are just cheap plastic tubes or if they will include some fitting to make it work with case feeder assembly. If you happen to figure that out from the feeder, please let us know. Glad you got it first. cheers! |

Ok so I've set it up adjusted everything per the instruction . The only problem I had after sizing 300 .45 was buldged cases.
The bulged cases will hang up at the bottom of the drop tube. If this happens just clear the case with your finger. 2 cases will come out . The press will lock down so don't force the ram. Just clear it. Over all I found it to be easy to set up , quality parts, well thought out system and good instructions for a change. It works great with the dillon hopper. I still have to do some work on that end but no big deal

Thanks. Dillon uses a >.55" ID tube (at least that is what came on 1050). .5 should be fine for most. I just measured some cases. Only ones I noticed that are too big that I load on my PC7 are 45-70 and 300WM. Although I just realized that 45-70 is too big for 1050 too. I don't load it on 1050 but I guess I couldn't anyway. Wonder if Dillon sells larger tubes? I am almost positive there is a conversion kit for 45-70 on the 1050...
Anyway, please clarify your comments about bulged 45 cases if you can. Are they getting caught in end of tube? in the shuttle piece? Originally Posted By bm3:

With the relation of case release and case hold... that pickle fork looking part has to be timed so that it lets the case out but also doesn't pop back in and catch the case again
right? So how do tall cases work in that situation? Or does it not matter if it re-engages the case it let out? |

Then pushed closed here. 
This plunger holds the next case in line and is adjustable depending on the case.

BM3, if i can learn how to upload to youtube, anyone can. I dont do "social media".
Cant tell much from videa other than a case is moving. Assuming its not black magic, it must be the case feeder. I called RCBS for primer slides today. They said they only had PC7 slides (which is fine for me). But I am curious to know why they would be different??? |

Back on topic.
I ran some 500 223 today and only had 3 cases tip. After inspection of the cases the rims were a little bent. No big deal. 
You have to make some minor adjustment from caliber to caliber. Not a big issue , take about 10 min. |

Looks great! Especially like Old Glory......I hear Murphy gets teary eyed and gives a break or two to real patriots. 
Have you got ALL RCBS's replacement parts that fix the primer system, yet? We are curious as to whether they really have it fixed, or are just adding a temporary bandaid! I'm getting closer to the point where I actually may order a Pro Chucker....as an addition to my stable. It'll have to be the 7 station version tho, as I can't find enough advantages to replace my Pro 2000, and I still think a cast iron press and the APS primer system is a big advantage ...... the other direction!  But the seven stations are calling, and that's worth a try.

Also, what "shell plate holder" are you referring to? FWIW, I found my biggest primer slide issue was that the plunger wasn't releasing after plunging in a primer. Slide was locked in and there goes the arm. Cleaned up the plunger with a fine sponge polisher and wax. Works great now. |

Also, what "shell plate holder" are you referring to? . He's talking about the casting under the shellplate that holds the dodads that stick thru the shellplate. In previous presses, they called it the sub-shellplate. Shellplates mount on top of it through the center bolt.
