Anyone tried or even seen these yet? I legit may buy a pair next week if they are up to par. I was gonna buy a couple PVS14s but this sounds too good to pass up.

Here is a thread about it in the GD but as usual it is more squabbling and other nonsense then real info but that is the GD.

Nick Chen did a good review on them on TFB.

The thing that would turn me off is the fisheye problems with the 50 degree lense. Its cool that it has such a wide FOV and are supposedly awesome for driving. But theg are also less forgiving with the positioning in front of your eye.

I think unfortunately you’ll find much of the same around here, just bickering about F China and F L3. I have a local shooting buddy having a set being built up and will try to get my hands on them ASAP to take more photos and compare with my experience from having AN/AVS-10s for a bit. Particularly interested in how the wide FoV optics affect usage and how near you might need to wear them to your eyes.

Just noticed that link shows the tube options as WHITE PHOSPHORUS. I think I'll pass as having white PHOSPHOROUS  hanging from my face haha.

In all seriousness. I'd be wary of buying NV from a company that doesn't know the difference

The link to the TFB review is in the first post of the GD thread but here it is in case anyone does not want to go fishing in the GD.

Looking forward to seeing it! The optics are a huge turn off to me based on the vids that Nick showed on IG but maybe just having panos is enough to offsets it.

I really enjoy this guy's column "Friday Night Lights"... but I gotta wonder... is he sponsored by ATN or something?
