https://www.ar15.com/forums/Armory/BNVD-1431-MK2-vs-LLUL-21-vs-2-Tantos/18-551603/As far as the RNVG-A (or ARNVG as they are commonly referred to), AB Night Vision did a great job applying their classic aluminum construction/machining techniques that they are well known for, to an articulating design. You really can't go wrong with them.
As with all things, you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to night vision housing design.
Thank you.

@TOTHEMAX
Deviating from the couple housings you seemed interested in, we still have one Manual Gain DTNVS (DTNVS-MG) available with lightweight RPO lenses:
https://tnvc.com/shop/crazy-vics-mean-green-t-n-v-dtnvs-mg-w-rpo-l3harris-18um-omni-viii-filmed-green-phoshor/That would get you into one of the newest but most reputable housings, with manual gain, and very durable yet light weight at around 15.5oz~ all within your stated budget.
If you want to forgo the Manual gain and lens upgrade in favor of better tubes, Night Goggles has these to offer:
https://www.nightgoggles.com/shop/night-vision/ng-dtnvs-with-mil-spec-l3harris-unfilmed-white-phosphor/Having owned and used DTNVS fairly extensively myself, I can definitely recommend them. It's a very proven housing that's been around quite a while.
Also, even without light weight lenses the standard DTNVS is plenty light weight as-is (even with the addition of Ipd stops)
