| I purchased a Ruger American Gen 2 in 5.56 that uses AR mags and was wondering if it’s possible to convert it to AICS magazines just by swapping the stock. |

MDT chassis ….. should have the AI bottom metal. The original polymer AI mags are long enough internally to use 80 gr .223 loads , but 10 round only is what I’ve seen. The up side is the MDT chassis can add a folding stock (just check that it’s still 26 in overall when folded) Contact MDT |
