| @marnsdorff no sheath option , but I have a Russian style pouch by Mordor tac a shovel cover I found on fleabay in E.M.R. with MOLLE so I want it on either my SMERSH rig or my crossfire CF1 pack . My brother has one of the cold steel spetsnaz shovels and they are great , I've used it to dig under a house me and my buddy were doing construction and it was perfect for the job. |

ALICE, not PALS, not old plastic USGI cover with flap cut between snaps turning it into dual straps. |

I remember you asking me. If I remember right, I said I wasn't taking new jobs until I get caught up with everyone else's stuff first. Sorry if I didn't get back to you brother. I've done alice mods for people before - but honestly, she specializes in doing that. She does it ALL the time and probably would do it faster and better than I would. People who specialize and do the same thing all the time are a thing. She does the same custom mods and repairs over and over again. She doesn't have to figure things out and design new parts or pieces or whatever each time she does something - I'd have to do that, since I haven't modded and repaired hundreds or thousands of those packs like she has. The 'figuring things out' time takes far longer than the sewing time. I get wanting to get one of the 'guys' on here to do it, and if you really want me to do it, I can add it to my long long list of stuff to do. I still have a couple specialty projects for guys on here that have waited for quite awhile (like the 40 round pmag pouches in BubbaCam, which is the next custom project on the list) and would hate to add your pack to that list. |
