[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Recommend me a sling for PTR 91.

I want a practical sling for my PTR 91 GI, so that I can carry it hunting. I don't want leather. Any good slings like this?

I have one of these - Fire-Force - it's fairly cheap and does the job.

I lugged my trusty old HK-91 up and down and all around the Hill Country using the old three point - two point HK green web sling...

I used it as a three point and it never let me drop the rifle.

I use a blackhawk 2-point sling.

Get a surplus leather G3 sling around $8. Has a quick release buckle.

Best sling for all rifles is the Blueforce Vickers sling.

And depending on how much stuff you have bolted on to your gun you might want to look into the padded version.

Lulz. OP specifically stated that he doesn't want leather. Also, the Q/D is only for the front attachment point so the stock can be removed for maintenance.

Blue Force Gear VCAS would work perfectly. Available in padded or not.
