If that is the AAC 300 blackout upper then it's a 9" barrel. However, I don't believe that is the muzzle device that comes with the upper.

Looks awesome!! Out of curiosity, what is the brand of the upper and why did you decide to cut the rail back to sit behind the gas block rather than be flush with it?

Nice. I think the surpressor threw me off a little bit. I thought the barrel was 5" or so. That UCIW stock makes SBR's look so good

Two factors-

A) I fucked up my first cut on the rail...I did it with a hacksaw and bench grinder and it wasnt perfectly level like I wanted it to be

B) The rail can only be cut in .6-.8" increments due to the circular holes in the rail above and below the horizontal 1913 rail. If you cut into one of the holes, the end of the rail has a sharp half moon with edges sticking out and I wanted the rail to be flat on the front facing side. Another consideration is the front sight, rails are cut a certain length so that the front sight when mounted on the front-most 1913 section sit flush with the rail (or leave a marginal amount of space .1-.2") so I had to cut it back to the edge of the next 1913 section so the KAC micro sight sit flush on the front edge.

I am waiting on a Saker 7.62.  Don't really want to run my YHM on it.  Supposedly, the Saker will eventually have a YHM mount alternative.... maybe.  Still building an 11.5" upper that I will run the can on... and post pictures of!

What rail are you using?

Im trying to mount my sdn6 on a 7.5" barrel, but I cant find a rail that is shorter than the barrel(without going into pistol handguards).

That's an Adams Arms upper with a Samson Extended Pistol rail.  The rail projects forward on the bottom under the gas block and comes to about the shoulder on the 7.5" barrel.

Thanks for the info badger!  That still doesnt really help though(I thought it might), but Its actually pretty much what I have right now....Im going to see what I can do with the MI 2 piece rail.....cut it down and maybe strap it together or something

Nice clones BigMoney!

The second pic has the upper thats in question right now....see how the rail covers the FH...If I put a AAC mount, the can wouldnt go on it as it sits currently.
But also the second pic's lower is pending....I actually just returned my correction to the ATF today....so a few more weeks left probably
