Finally got the stamp for the can on Friday. About to head to the range. AR-15 forged lower Spikes LPK Spikes Chrome BCG Geissele SSA trigger Noveske 8" Lo-Pro w/VIS - .300 BLK AAC 762-SDN-6 Aimpoint Comp M4 Magpul UBR Magpul MOE Grip Magpul XTR Railcovers Troy BattleSights true co-witness. Haven't decided on a light yet - I've tried the TLR-1, but I don't really like it.  |
You could try driving the moisture out in an oven on a very low heat setting, but you might just burn your house down instead. - RyJones

(I know this is a picture thread, but I really didn't want to create a new thread.) I played around with zero points, and with Remington 220 gr. OTM subsonic rounds I found that with a zero point of 75 yards I got: +0.5" @ 25 yds. +1.5" @ 50 yds. +0.0" @ 75 yds. -2.5" @ 100 yds. The range only went to 100 yards, so I didn't have the chance to test @ 150 yds., but really I can't see a precision aiming point at that distance using an RDO (or irons...) So I'm happy with a point blank range of 100 yards. I had some short-stroking issues when firing subs without the silencer attached, but today I fired over 100 rounds with the silencer, and operation was flawless. I shot a few supersonic rounds, but didn't spend much time on those. I'll do that another time. |
